5 card stud poker

The 5 Card Draw is the most popular poker games, many of us have begun to play it from small, thanks to the facility of its rules.

In the United States it is played with a French pack of 52 cards, in Europe the number of the cards is based on the number of the players, 32 cards if it plays with four (A., K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7) 36 cards if it plays with five (the 6 is added) 40 cards if it has 6 players (with the addition of 5), the games generally play with a maximum of 5 players.

In the Traditional Poker game the value of the cards is slightly different due to the ace that is the highest card and is not worth one but eleven, the combinations are evaluated in base of the suits of the cards.

In cases of identical combinations it is then used a grading classification, Hearts Diamonds Clubs and Spades.

The possible combinations in Poker are:

Single card: the cards are counted and who has the highest score wins

One Pair: two cards of the same rank, in case of a draw a calculation of the remaining cards are performed.

Two Pair: two pairs of cards of the same rank, in case of a draw the fifth card of each player is compared.

Three of a kind: three cards of the same rank, in case of a draw, a calculation of the remaining cards is performed.

Straight: sequence of cards in order and of different suits, in case of a draw the player with a straight of higher value wins, in rare cases of a further draw, you have to look at the suits of the cards.

Full: Combination of a three of a kind and of one pair, in case of a draw the full with the highest three of a kind wins.

Colour: five cards of the same suit, not in sequence, in case of a draw a calculation of the cards is performed.

Poker or four of a Kind: four cards of the same rank.

Royal Flush:  a straight in sequence of five cards with the same suit.
