Draw poker
They are so called Draw Poker the specialties of poker where in the first hand each player receives 5 cards (apart the badugi where 4 are given), all the cards are covered and there are no community cards.
At the conclusion of every hand the players can decide to change more cards or not to change any at all, declaring himself served.
In all the specialties of draw poker at the beginning of the game before the dealer gives the cards to the various players, it is predicted that each player must make an Ante ( a small bet), ( also called initial pot from the not professional players), in the casinos the opening is normally preferred in the dark.
5 draw cards, is the traditional 5 card poker played all over the world.
After the distribution of the cards a turn of bets is performed, a possibility is given to change some cards, a new turn of bets then goes the showdown.
Ace to 5 Triple draw, 5 cards are distributed to each player that has to face 3 rounds of bets, ended these rounds he has the possibility to change his cards, after the last there is the showdown in which wins the lowest score.
Straights or colours don't exist.
Badugi, is a variation of the 5 card, the game is born in Asia where it is most played, the score attributed to the various combinations is totally different from the 5 card.
California Lowball, uses the rules of the Deuce to 7 triple draw, wins the hand that has the lowest score. The rounds of bets are only 2.
Deuce to 7 Triple Draw, after the 5 card game it is the most known among the draws poker, it plays up to 6 players. They perform 4 rounds of bets and each player has the possibility to change from 0 to 5 cards. The winner is the player that has realized the lowest score.
Kansas City Lowball, a variation of the Deuce to 7 Triple Draw, it is held one of the variations most complicated of draw poker, maintains the same rules, except the number of the rounds performed, there are only two hands of bets.
The Kansas City Lowball has a variation that is the California Lowball, where the rules and the method of game are the same, with the exception of the aces that are considered the lowest card of value.
